Reflection
This journey was an enriching experience that allowed me to see Indonesia’s immense potential through its vibrant culture, warm hospitality, and emerging developments, all while collaborating with local students and companies to uncover new perspectives on my own homeland. Our consulting project challenged us to bridge cultural gaps, blend perspectives, and think creatively. It was humbling to realize how much we could contribute while learning so much from the organizations we worked with. As an Indonesian myself, visiting Jakarta and Bali for the first time felt both nostalgic and new, offering a deeper appreciation for my own homeland. While Jakarta is infamous for its traffic jams, Bali surprised me with similar congestion caused by its booming tourist influx. Regardless, beyond the bustling cities, Indonesia’s charm radiates through its warm hospitality and fiery cuisine. Every experience offered a glimpse of the country’s rich culture and natural beauty, perfectly embodying the slogan “Wonderful Indonesia”.
