"We at Timperio chose Singapore as the base to launch our expansion into the Asian market back in 2018 because of its economic and political stability and we have not looked back ever since. In 2021, we took part in the SMU-X Business Capstone course and the bright young minds of the SMU students have brought us to a better understanding of the local market and of our customers with refreshing and useful ideas. What's even more pleasantly surprising was the creative initiatives taken by some student groups to come up with 3D-printed prototypes during the final presentation to complement their project deliverables and showed that they were willing to go the extra mile. Hence, yes, when we were approached by SMU-X to donate a 3D printer, we were most excited to and glad to be the donor; we believe that with this enhancement to the current setup in the Makerspace, more students will be involved in prototyping and discover the limitless possibilities."
