"Our journey with SMU-X goes back to 2020 when we first embarked on the Digital Marketing project collaboration. The project was so thoroughly scoped out by the faculty and the students were like a fresh breath of air — they were so enterprising and diligent. The research outcomes and suggestions they came up with belied their young age and current level of experience. The other project collaboration on Social Analytics was equally impressive with the students coming up with detailed analytics reports on the various touchpoints amidst their school load. Therefore, the donation of the hot foil stamp press for the SMU-X Makerspace, which is an heirloom of Bynd Artisan, serves as a reward for the contributions by the students towards SMU-X projects. I wish for them to have great fun personalising their projects, prototypes, or even their hobbies."
