What you envision for your area(s) of interest and research etc

SMU-X has a powerful pedagogy in which students learn by experiencing and taking on real-world challenges. Besides deepening students’ knowledge and skills, I believe the instructors have also played a significant role in cultivating their strength and courage for thriving against the odds. SMU-X’s achievements in this area of experiential learning have become one of my biggest research fascinations.

Special talent: Natural curiosity about many things. As you see in this picture, I went to Egypt some years ago and tried to figure out which pharaoh got drenched with Red Sea water.
