Your favourite/ most memorable project
It will be the pilot experience with both SMU and Universitas Indonesia (UI) students that was held in Term 2 of AY2020/21. It also represents the first such collaboration with UI. The projects that we did were also interesting and relevant as we worked with 2 companies (PT Genesis Indojaya & PT UOB Indonesia) on 5 different projects ranging from designing dashboards to monitor performance of employees to tackling the challenges faced by Indonesian Micro MSEs in their digital transformation journey. Students from both universities worked together seamlessly in coming up with practical solutions for the 5 projects. Overall, it was a challenging yet enriching experience for all parties (including myself, the clients, and both groups of students).

What you envision for your area(s) of interest and research etc
I would still like to get myself involved in more experiential learning experiences, especially in collaborations with other overseas universities. At the same time, I am also interested in coming up with more innovative teaching materials, such as using digital platforms to facilitate engagement with students.

My favourite movie is the Dark Knight and the quote by Inspector Gordon highlighted the Batman character aptly: “Because he’s the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now.”
