Your favourite/ most memorable project

Pre-Covid, the GM of Porsche Asia Pacific reached out to me via one of my former students to address two compelling business challenges under Business Capstone program. While most of us are working on Go-To-Market projects related to retail in Business Capstone, personally, I was excited about this collaboration with Porsche due to my passion for high performance fast cars and most importantly, the project involves the launch of their first all-Electric Vehicle called Taycan which will shape Porsche’s mobility transformation in the near future. Not only it was a privilege for my students and I to be part of Porsche’s transformation but also we had the opportunity to learn how to capture insights from driven & affluent youths and turned them into ideas of which some of them were adopted by Porsche during the launch of Taycan for Asia Pacific region held in Singapore. 

Our client partner Porsche was happy with the outcome of the project. Each student and faculty have received written recognitions and token of appreciation from Porsche. Some of us (my students and I) even had the opportunity to witness the launch of Taycan at the Float@MarinaBay.

What you envision for your area(s) of interest and research etc

My passion lies on working with my students, team and client partners to take on and overcome business problems related to digital transformation, business model transformation from offline to online, go-to-market and customer acquisition. As an educator, business practitioner and digital marketer, I am committed to invest time to find new ways to help businesses to uncover new opportunities, new revenue streams and transform their distributions channels in the shortest period of time so that they can keep pace with the changes in the market. Hence, my research focus lies on:

Design Thinking

Digital Marketing

Performance Marketing
