Your favourite/ most memorable project

The International Moots electives train students to prepare written and oral arguments before international arbitrators and judges in places such as Oxford, Washington DC, and Vienna. In the past two years, due to travel restrictions, these had to be done online. We spared no effort in reconfiguring our moot court into a state- of-the-art facility for online hearings, complete with full-frame cameras, 75” screens, and professional condensers.

Publications or published articles related to SMU-X projects (if any).

  • “Online Advocacy: Views from a Moot Coach” in Law and Covid-19
  • “The Highly Disrupted International Moots Season” in Singapore Law Gazette

What you envision for your area(s) of interest and research etc

As project lead for autonomous vehicles at SMU’s Centre for AI and Digital Governance, I see rich areas of inter-domain discourse when it comes to establishing frameworks for liability and proof.

I am a hobbyist photographer who likes to contribute pictures to Wikipedia. For example, the lead picture of Fran Healy (of the Scottish band Travis) was taken by me. I also took the picture of Shanti Pereira winning the 200m gold at the 2015 SEA Games.
