Kheng Sun was a project sponsor for the SMU-X Digital Transformation Strategy course back in early 2021, and my team and I were thoroughly impressed with the meticulous strategy proposals and solutions, in spite of the relative unfamiliarity with the construction industry and the complexity of the project scope that we had come up with. The winning team even came up with digital prototypes in the form of website and app creation and we were truly appreciative of the efforts that go into it and believed that they also had a great learning experience along the way. With this donation of the professional drill press set, which is related to the industry, I look forward to the students making use of it to create serious prototypes with precise hole-drilling in mind on various types of materials, or even for basic tasks such as ventilation vents for IoT enclosures.
